Role and Responsibilities
A Safety Manager will be responsible for monitoring construction sites to ensure that government regulations are complied with and that Occupational safety and Health Administration (OSHA) laws are followed.
Prepare safety training agenda at weekly foreman's meetings
Work with Corporate Fleet Manager and Safety Director to manage equipment operator training program
Perform safety site inspections and file at division office
Document safety incidents and forward information to Corporate Safety Director
Must have 5 years’ of safety experience in the construction industry.
Must have a minimum of OHSA 30 and preferably an OSHA 510. (Current).
Must be proficient in MS office Suite products.
Must have a clean driving record.
Bilingual in Spanish and English, understands commercial landscape construction environment.
